PRIOR TO CONTACTING APBH:
(1) Speak with your pediatrician or other medical provider about ABA services to determine if ABA services are right for your child.
(2) The medical provider can write a prescription for ABA services, if it is required by the insurance.
(3) Contact the insurance to determine benefits.
CONTACTING APBH:
(1) Call or email APBH to determine if APBH is the right fit for your child and family.
(2) Complete the Intake Questionnaire. Please have the insurance card accessible.
(3) APBH will submit an assessment request to the insurance company.
(4) The insurance will submit an assessment authorization to APBH.
(5) The Clinical Supervisor will contact you to schedule dates and times for the assessment.
DURING THE ASSESSMENT:
(1) The Clinical Supervisor will conduct indirect and direct assessments.
(2) The Clinical Supervisor will write the report.
(3) The Clinical Supervisor will review the report with caregiver(s) and obtain caregiver(s) approval.
(4) The report will be submitted to the insurance.
(5) The insurance will authorize services.
(6) APBH will contact the caregiver(s) to determine the initial start date and time.
